Unilever names new chief legal and supply chain officers -Breaking

(Reuters) – Dove soap manufacturer Unilever (NYSE 🙂 Plc announced Wednesday that it had made two leadership changes. The company hired new employees to replace its chief legal officer and chief supply chain officer.

Marc Engel will be replaced by Reginaldo Ecclissato in January as executive vice president for Mexico, Central America, and the Greater Caribbean, according to the company.

Like Engel, Ecclissato has worked for Unilever over 30 years, and is familiar with both emerging and developed markets.

Engel will depart the company after a transitional period in April 2022.

The FTSE listed company announced that Maria Varsellona was appointed its chief legal officer. Maria Varsellona is the general counsel at ABB Ltd and also company secretary.

Ritva Sotamaa has announced her retirement in March 2022 and Varsellona will take over.
