PARIS, (Reuters) – Airbus shipped a small volume of jets in mid-50s during November according to industry sources. The planemaker is now 85 units shy of the annual goal of 600 jets.

Airbus has delivered 460 Airbus aircraft in the period January through October.

Airbus spokeswoman declined to comment about monthly numbers before they were audited, published and verified.

Bloomberg News earlier reported this week that Airbus will need to speed up deliveries for December, having reached 500 handovers in the previous year.

Airbus has increased the target annual to 600, from 566 in June, according to sources. But, Airbus ran into problems with its supply chain, affecting particularly Hamburg, said the sources.
