China fines Douban for “unlawful” release of information -Breaking

BEIJING (Reuters), – China’s Cyberspace Administration ()It said that it summoned Douban, a social media company for unlawfully releasing information, and had fined them.

CAC stated in a statement, that Beijing authorities had fined Douban’s operating entity 1.5million yuan ($235,000), and regulators demanded immediate rectifications from the company.
