Gambling group Suncity’s shares set to rise 6.1% after arrested chairman resigns -Breaking

HONG KONG (Reuters – Macau gambling firm Suncity Group Holdings Ltd saw shares rise 6.1% after their chairman, who was accused of cross-border gambling links, was confirmed by the company.

Alvin Chau is the Suncity founder and was detained by Macau Police on Sunday.

Suncity’s stock will open at HK$0.14. The trading of its shares was suspended on Wednesday.
