Palantir Inks $43M Space Systems Command Contract Extension -Breaking

Investing.com — Palantir Technologies Inc (NYSE:) revealed Thursday that the Space Systems Command’s (SSC) Cross-Mission Ground & Communications Enterprise (ECX) awarded it a $43 million contract to continue its delivery of a data and decision platform to support “national security objectives.”

This contract adds to the existing awards. With today’s agreement, the total contract value has increased to $91.5 millions.

The Palantir platform, named Warp Core, is used to make decisions from large volumes of data in support of missions, helping to support Project Brown Heron which enables all-domain situational awareness and decision-making.

Doug Philippone is the global defense lead for Palantir Technologies. “The threats that our nation face in and through this space domain are very real,” he said.

Palantir made a separate announcement that it signed a multiyear deal with Kinder Morgan (NYSE:) An energy infrastructure company to utilize the Foundry platform for their storage operations.

Palantir shares were up 0.3% in the late morning trades
