Treasury’s Yellen enjoying her job, has no plans to leave -Breaking

(Reuters] – U.S. Treasury Secret Janet Yellen stated that she does not plan to leave her current job anytime soon, and that it is something she “really enjoys.”
75 year old Yellen was the first woman to hold the office of Treasury chief and chair of Federal Reserve Board, and the Council of Economic Advisers. She held this position under the former president Bill Clinton.
“I just got started,” she stated. “We still have so much work, and I do not plan to quit Treasury.”
Yellen speaks often about her lifelong passion for addressing inequality in the U.S. Economy in speeches. She also plays a major role in shaping Biden’s policies to address childhood poverty and increase incomes of low-income earners.
When asked what the effect of having more women holding key economic posts was, Yellen replied that diversity was important to her and she would continue to pursue it as a Biden administration goal.
Christine Lagarde commented on the financial crisis that occurred in 2008 by saying that “I frequently appeared when I was Fed chair” and that Christine Lagarde sometimes said she would have made a comment if Christine Lagarde had made comments about Christine Lagarde’s frequent appearances at events.
“That’s a thing that sticks with me always,” she stated. “I believe that women have the ability to balance risks with benefits, which can sometimes lead to more prudent or cautious policymaking.
Lagarde was the former managing director for the International Monetary Fund, and is currently president of the European Central Bank.
Wally Adeyemo (Yellen’s deputy) is the first Black candidate to hold that position. Research shows that greater diversity in leadership results in a wider variety of factors being taken into consideration and improved policymaking.
The record-breaking 11 female Cabinet members, seven of which are women of color (including Vice President Kamala Harris), were promised by President Joe Biden.
