Musk sells Tesla shares worth $1.01 billion

(Reuters) – Tesla Inc (NASDAQ:) Chief Executive Elon Musk had sold an additional 934 091 shares in the electric car maker for $1.01 billion according to U.S. securities filings.

The filings also show that he exercised stock options in order to acquire 2.1 Million shares of Tesla.
