REUTERS/Mike BlakeWASHINGTON, (Reuters) – CNN announced Saturday it fired Chris Cuomo as a news anchor during an investigation into Andrew Cuomo’s attempts to assist his brother in responding to sexual misconduct allegations.
The cable news network released a statement saying that Chris Cuomo had been suspended this week in the wake of fresh information about Cuomo’s involvement in his brother’s defense.
“We hired a respected law office to help us with the project.”
