CHUBB Arabia Cooperative Insurance, (SE:) fell 2.17 percent or 0.80 points during the session to close at 36.15. Allianz Saudi Fransi Cooperative Insurance Company, (SE:), declined 1.70% (or 0.45 points) to close at 26.05. Banque Saudi Fransi was down 1.02% (or 0.45 point) to 43.85.

The January delivery of crude oil fell 0.3% or 0.23 to $66.27 per barrel. Brent oil, which is available for delivery in February, rose 0.24 or 0.34% to reach $69.91 a bar. Meanwhile, the February Gold Futures contract rose 21.45 or 1.22% to trade at $1784.15 per troy ounce.
