1000 respondents were aged between 25 and 64. All respondents had at minimum $10,000 of investable household assets, excluding real estate or workplace retirement plans. They also had at least $50,000 in income. The majority of cryptocurrency investors use a trading app, or direct through a digital exchange. A small number of people do not invest in Bitcoin using traditional brokerage, or even industry professionals. According to the survey, only 11% of those surveyed used a financial adviser for cryptocurrency exposure in 2019, compared with 30% in 2020.
