Aeromexico says bankruptcy court accepts financing commitment letters -Breaking

REUTERS/Luis CortesMEXICO CITY (Reuters – Mexican airline Aeromexico reported late Monday that a bankruptcy judge had accepted its commitment letters concerning exit financing. The confirmation hearing is scheduled for January 18.
Aeromexico, which filed Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection in America last year has been going through a restructuring plan with creditors and investors.
Aeromexico stated in a filing to Mexico’s stock market that the joint proposal had been supported by Delta Air Lines (NYSE) as a strategic partner and a strong group of Mexican investors.
“Aeromexico continues to collaborate with key stakeholders to secure court approval. It also works to close the Chapter 11 restructuring process as soon as it is possible.”
