Amazon Web Services outage causes issues at Disney+, Netflix, Coinbase

AmazonThe Tuesday outage at the company’s cloud-computing center resulted in some website and service downages.

A noticeAmazon Web Services stated on its status page that it is experiencing issues with APIs and AWS Management Console. These issues affect AWS’ US-East-1 Region located in Northern Virginia. Not all users could be affected.

The notice was published late Tuesday morning and stated that “We are experiencing API/console problems in the US EAST-1 region.” “We identified the root cause, and we are active in recovery.”

The outage caused problems for several services, including DisneyDisney+ is a streaming subscription service. NetflixSlack Stock Trading App RobinhoodAnd Coinbase– the U.S.’s largest cryptocurrency exchange. Amazon sellers reported that they could not access Seller Central, which is an internal site used for customer orders management.

AWS representatives did not immediately reply to my request for comment.
