France stocks higher at close of trade; CAC 40 up 2.91% -Breaking

Investing.com – France stocks were higher after the close on Tuesday, as gains in the , and sectors led shares higher.

Paris closed with an increase of 2.91% and the index rising by 2.70%.

These were the best performers of the session Kering SA (PA:) traded at 735.20 after the close, up 5.74%. That’s 39.90 point more than it was at the start. STMicroelectronics N (PA:), which gained 5.68%, or 2.38 points, to close at 44.40. ArcelorMittal SA was also up 5.29% (or 1.33 points) to 26,36 in late-trade.

These were the worst performers of the session. Carrefour SA (PA:), fell 0.49%, or 0.07 points to trade close at 15.13 Danone SA (PA 🙂 dropped 0.43%, or 0.23 points, to finish at 52.86. Orange SA: (PA 🙂 was up 0.09 to 9.28.

Solutions 30 SE (PA) was the top performer on SBF 120, rising 8.77% to 7.20 Mcphy Energy (PA:), which rose 7.63% to reach 23.12 Eramet SA (PA) gained 6.45% and closed at 75.10.

Atos SE(PA:), which fell 3.01% to 35.43 in late trading, and Covivio SA (“PA:”) which dropped 1.81% to settle on 71.62 were the worst performers. Elior Group (PA) was at 5.97, down by 1.73% from the closing.

The Paris Stock Exchange saw rising stocks surpass declining stocks by 436 to 173, while 83 ended the same.

Atos SE shares (PA:), fell to their 5-year lowest point; 3.01%, or 1.13 to 36.43.

The implied volatility index of CAC 40 options was at 0% to 18.96, a 6-month high.

The February delivery of Gold Futures was up 0.2% or 4.60, to $1784.10 per troy ounce. Other commodities traded included Crude oil, which rose 3.10 or 4.46% to reach $72.59/barrel, and the February Brent Oil contract, which rose 2.85 or 3.90% to trade at $75.93/barrel.

EUR/USD dropped by 0.36% at 1.1244, but EUR/GBP was lower by 0.05%, to 0.8501.

At 96.480, the US Dollar Index Futures rose 0.16%.
