Mafia Metaverse City Unveils First Game Offering for Binance NFT

SYN CITY is launching the Binance Initial Game Offering, (IGO), a play-to earn blockchain game. It will take place on December 9, at 4:00 UTC. The SYN City team will launch a limited-edition list of NFTs as well as other assets in-game, specifically for Binance.

Recent months have seen significant interest in the concept of Initial Game Offerings. Binance’s IGOs only allow top-tier Blockchain games to list their NFT collections. This collection can be sold via auctions or fixed-price sales. Mystery boxes are also possible. Binance lets game developers install multiple rounds IGOs to their upcoming games. Creators can offer unlimited assets through flexible pricing models.

The IGOs can only be used for gaming purposes, so any dropped content found on Binance NFT must contain in-game assets. They may contain assets like experience points and access passes as well legendary weapons, skins and other exclusive items that are only available to the Binance Community.

SYN CITY, a free-to-play game founded by Tron’s former Head of Business Roy Liu, is the first-of-its-kind syndicate and mafia-themed blockchain game. The proposed “mafia metaverse” will introduce a unique governance system called Mafia-as-a-DAO (MaaD). MaaD encourages all players and gives them the ability to create or join their own syndicates. SYN CITY’s developers are gaming veterans from Disney, Ubisoft, Roblox, EA, and Gameloft.

SYN CITY’s unique approach to free play and earning is significant. SYN CITY was supported by a number of prominent investors as well as VC companies. Days before SYN CITY’s genesis launch, Twitch co-founder Justin Kan and Robin Chan’s Goat Capital led an $8 million funding round, with additional financial backing from Spartan Group, Hack VC, A&T Capital, Animoca Brands, and more.
