Here’s what I see December 7, 2021.
- Wo are all the bozo sellers who disappeared two weeks back including the oil sellers… you cannot expect this market to be able to allow so many people to sell at once…panic is not a strategy…jokers to the left of me: the early morning tape painters — those who would try to make the market look bad, disappeared…perhaps after they were exposed last night on Mad Money?
- Intel (INTC) can’t do it with earnings so they do it with break-up?… Intel will take self-driving unit public…$15.3 Billions paid in March 2107…. Brian Krzanich acquired it…new customers list necessary… BMW has been a client, but BMW remains the principal client. Nvidia (NVDA)They solved the black ice ?… (Brian at CDK Global software for automobile companies )…
- Coupa Software (COUP) —twilight of the idols?… seeing slight growth slowdown in cloud/digital ordering/procurement…
- MongoDB (MDB)It was still very strong, which is surprising considering that it was 18% lower than the print… more enterprise software… Are there too many? The cloud-based data management… there are so many… cloud-based this… cloud-based the… but what about the real biz ?… Piper’s target price is raised from $525 – 585
- Restaurant Brands (QSR)Evercore ISI… Hold on… Do we really like Burger King and Wendy’s as much as McDonald’s or McDonald’s?
- Merck (MRK) downgraded by Guggenheim…another bust for Merck after anti-viral fails to beat that of Pfizer (PFE)…
- CarMax (KMX) upgraded by JPMorgan…better than peers for labor and bottlenecks… JPMorgan upgraded me…better than peers for labor and bottlenecks… Carvana (CVNA) and Lithia Motors (LAD) much more… Carvana fastAnd reliable but analyst lowers price target because of labor costs and capacity constraints… Lithia growing through incredible acquisition, but nobody even knows it because it is based in Ashland Oregon…owner lives next to where my daughter lived… good guy…Bryan Deboer
- Starbucks (SBUX)…upgraded at MKM to buy neutral…
- Micron (MU)Citi says Dram Price Pick-up… You missed 20 points, but it’s better to be late than never… Can lead the tech rally
- Apple (AAPL)… own it, don’t trade it… Morgan Stanley’s Katy Huberty with huge call: price target raised from $164 to $200… where is the supplier weakness, Apple telling them business is weak call now?… iPhone supply surprisingly high and the app store up…This is amazing news after Bloomberg’s story… Katy called it a “flight towards quality”.
- PPG Industries (PPG)Evercore ISI upgrade it, even though the last two quarters were misses. They lowergrade Linde (LIN) — a charitable trust name — even as the last two quarters have been lights out… analyst growing neutral on industrial gas stocks….
- JPMorgan upgrades Bumble (BMBL)After meeting with managers, a person feels more secure: Dating relationship eco-system vs. slowing growth of app payers…
- China… politburo says growth is highest priority – which has caused the Chinese stocks to run…Wait three days and sell? U.S. stock with China business also running…
- AT&T (T)… Citi cuts PT costs from $31-$29… Hate it, Don’t Own It…
- UBS maintains Tesla (TSLA) as a neutral, analyst does raise PT from $725 to $1000.. How can you keep it a neutral with that price bump?…How can you not go to a buy? Tesla during a bear market…
- Biden’s proposal for $12,500 to be assembled by union employees…must Musk look like North Korean president Ford (F)… He’d like it canned…
- Morgan Stanley analyst Weiss loves the franchise players Adobe (ADBE), Intuit (INTU), Microsoft (MSFT), Salesforce (CRM) and Palo Alto (PANW).
