France’s growth should reach 6.7% this year

PARIS (Reuters) – France’s economy will grow 6.7% in 2019, as COVID-19, the most recent wave in the country’s history and the emergence Omicron strain have not had much of an impact on it. Francois Villeroy De Galhau, ECB policymaker from France and head of French central bank Francois Villeroy de Gallhau stated Wednesday.

Villeroy stated that the French economy is still growing (…) and will remain at 6.7% by 2021. Villeroy also said that inflation in France should be under 2% next year.
