(Reuters) – Instagram’s head Adam Mosseri is calling for an industry group to discuss best practices in order to keep teens safe online.
Mosseri heads Instagram (NASDAQ:), which is part the parent company Meta. In written testimony to a Senate panel, he stated that Instagram should be addressing “how age can be verified, how to design appropriate experiences for age groups, and how parents can control their children.” For Section 230 protections to be granted, Instagram and other companies should follow these guidelines.
