Palantir Technologies (NYSE 🙂 is continuing to invest in its business by collaborating on various projects. However, some business headwinds, combined with its mixed profit margins and its stock’s premium valuation, may be a cause of concern for the stock’s future performance. Palo Alto Software Technology Resources (PLTR), a software company that develops, deploys, and supports counterterrorism operations, is located in Palo Alto. PLTR received a contract from the National Institutes of Health, National Center for Advancing Translational Sciences and (NCATS) in October to maintain a secure cloud-based data enclave that consolidates COVID-19 information for collaboration clinical research.

But PLTR stock fell 25.2% and 27.1% respectively over the past one month. The stock closed yesterday’s session trading at $19.46. This is 56.8% lower than the 52-week high price of $45, that it reached on January 27, 2020.

The U.K. government also announced in September that it had ended its partnership with PLTR due to privacy concerns and lack of transparency. These fears, combined with PLTR’s mix profitability and high valuations could impact the future performance of this company.
