12 Play-to Earn Crypto Games and the Metaverse Most Likely To Rise Or Explode In 2022 (2/2)

In the DailyCoin office, we created an art wall called “Satoshi’s Dream,” which represents a very brief history of crypto, and now, collectively, we are now making his dream come true, sharing the same values. But did you ever think about “Vitalik’s dream?” And no, it’s not ETH 2.0! Did you know that if Blizzard hadn’t taken away some of the abilities of his WoW character, we would never have gotten Ethereum?

He mentioned the following in his about.me Page:

“I happily played World of Warcraft during 2007-2010, but one day Blizzard removed the damage component from my beloved warlock’s Siphon Life spell. The horrors that centralized services could bring me made me cry myself to sleep. I soon decided to quit.”
Here’s the second part of our list of the most promising blockchain games and crypto metaverses. In 2021, crypto gaming was a huge success. It can also be a revolutionary force in 2022!

Aavegotchi
Aavegotchi represents the ultimate gaming metaverse. It started out as a game for virtual pets, but it is now a full-fledged pixel/voxel universe. Yes, I mention both types of graphic styles because the game’s NFTs are suitable for both 2D and 3D metaverses. Mini-games can be played from many angles, even though the Gotchiverse’s main story is in 2D.

You can probably tell by the title that the game uses the Aave protocol. DailyCoin reviewed Aavegotchi before, which you can find here.

Bomb Crypto
Bomberman is a classic in gaming. It’s the Mario and the Bomberman platformers. Its core gameplay premise is good and entertaining enough to be left unchanged, and the developers of Bomb Crypto have “fertilized the ground of the classics” by integrating blockchain, wearables, and even a small metaverse.

Bomb Crypto lets you not only play with other players online, but can also do quests and adventures. You can even buy wearables for your hero. The game’s multiverse is called “Bomberland” and its token is $BCOIN.

Battle Racers
Battle Racers, a visually stunning RC racing simulator that uses blockchain technology, is now available. Those who started their gaming experiences in the 90s, or earlier, will remember Rock n’ Roll Racing from Blizzard.

The game is currently playable on desktop in ‘early access,’ as well as in Decentraland. Developers recently revealed plans to release a mobile version for Battle Racers before the year ends. They claimed it will be “a recharged version with brand new gameplay designed especially for your phones.”

One of the most interesting aspects of the game so far is the garage, where you can make your car from unique parts. Players can equip their vehicles with weapons, traps and shields before the races start.

Big Time
Big Time looks set to be a huge game. This MMO-action RPG is based on blockchain and has some very unique features. The main selling point of the game is the constant traveling across time and space, a mechanic most recently seen in the new ‘Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart’ for the PlayStation 5.

Of course, the mechanic will most likely be utilised in a different way in Big Time, though the developers haven’t fully revealed how just yet. The developers have announced that four classes will be available to play: a healer, warrior, magician, and fast ninjas with stealth mechanics. Weapons, as well as other collectables, will be playable NFTs, thus, meaning there won’t be any item collecting merely for the sake of collecting.

The best part of the game’s economy, according to the devs is that:

“… there will be no initial offering or pre-sale of the token to anyone, including the development team, meaning that the token will be 100% community-driven. The primary way to acquire the tokens will be to play the game.”

Aurory
Aurory is a new virtual pet-game, however it’s not the typical crypto game. Aurory offers an adventure mode that is closer to JRPG, while its main focus is on breeding and collecting pets. This makes Aurory similar to the Pokémon series, and even the cards of your monsters refer to the traditional Pokémon cards we know and love.

Aurory, from a technical perspective, is the first game to use the blockchain. This means that transaction fees are lower and computation times are shorter than those for ERC-20-based games. It is also supported by Solana and Animoca Brands.

Stormrite
Stormrite is an action-RPG similar to The Witcher 3’s visual style. The game’s gameplay is more similar to Skyrim, however. Stormrite can be used in other Enjin games because it is part of Enjin’s ecosystem. This project, which was developed by just one person, raised $55K via Kickstarter. A demo version of the project is due to be available in Q4 2022. This means that it could explode by the end of 2019.
