Supreme Court rejects bid to block Covid vaccine mandate for NY health workers

Monday’s emergency request to prevent enforcement of New York’s vaccine mandate mandating coronavirus vaccinations for health care workers was denied by the U.S. Supreme Court.
A group of twenty doctors and nurses filed a legal challenge. They argued that the vaccine mandate by the state violates the First Amendment because it does not include any religious exemption.
