Bored Apes Are Now Playable! Animoca Brands and BAYC Launch a Brand New Blockchain Game

This is the moment! All those who have ever wondered what NFTs can be used for other than profile photos and avatar JPEGs, now know the answers.

To dive right into the matter, one of the most popular NFT collections, ‘Bored Apes,’ produced by Bored Ape Yacht Club, are set to be implemented into a new blockchain game. The studio announced the new stage for their NFTs as a result of a fresh partnership with Animoca Brands, the world’s biggest blockchain games investor and software company.

NFTs have finally taken their place in crypto. Although they had been regarded as ineffective without an ecosystem to connect with them, the problem was solved quickly when blockchain gaming, and the metaverse came to the rescue.

Returning to the game itself, the developers haven’t yet revealed any details about the gameplay mechanics, graphics, or even the game’s future available platforms; the only thing we know is the approximate release date, which is currently slated to be Q2 of 2022. As is the norm for games based on blockchain technology it will also be available as a play-to-earn.
