(Reuters) – U.S. President Joe Biden Monday approved federal assistance to Tennessee. The order also directed that additional state and local response efforts should be made after a swarming of tornadoes ravaged the region Friday.

There were six tornadoes that struck Tennessee, where four people died. Kentucky was the worst affected, with at most 74 deaths.
