Centene settles with activist Politan, overhauls board, CEO to exit -Breaking

BOSTON, (Reuters) – Centene (NYSE) Corp made a deal for five directors to join Politan Capital Management’s managed care business board. The chief executive of the company will also retire after having been with it for a quarter-century.

Politan was the firm that proposed the two new directors. It is a veteran investor Quentin Koffey’s company.

Next year, Centene’s CEO Michael Neidorff will be retiring.
