(Reuters] – Tesla Inc Chief Executive Officer Elon Muss has sold close to $13 Billion worth of shares in just a few months. This was when Elon Musk became the wealthiest person on the planet.
According to U.S. securities filings, the billionaire also sold 934 091 more shares Monday for $906 Million to cover taxes related to stock option exercise to purchase 2.13 million Tesla shares (NASDAQ:).

HOW WAS MUSK SOLD?
Musk stated on Nov. 6, that he would buy 10% of his stake in Tesla if Twitter users consented. His stake in Tesla was now 23%, with a mix of stock options and trust shares of approximately 244 million. His trust held 170 million shares.
It was unclear what the tweet meant. Musk didn’t specify if he intended to sell 10% of the shares that he indirectly owns through the trust, or whether his stock options would also be part of the deal.
