Gala Games Listened on Coinbase. UFO Gaming To Follow

Gala Games is a well-known blockchain gaming company that makes games like Town Star, Mirandus and Mirandus. Recently, they made the news by listing GALA, their crypto token, on Coinbase (NASDAQ). In recent years the GameFi industry has seen an exponential growth and speculation is that other leaders in the sector, such as UFO Gaming, will follow their lead.

Gala Games as well UFO Gaming appear to be experiencing similar growth stories. CoinGecko reports that UFO’s price has increased 15,379% from $0.000000350110 at its launch to $0.00005418. UFO has seen significant growth since its June debut. UFO still has 8x potential to grow if this trend continues.

Gala Games Exponential Growth

GALA rose over 70% over the span of 24 hours in late November, positioning itself as one of the top 100 crypto assets by market cap according to CoinGecko’s latest listings. The company was launched in 2020 and already has over one million registered users. It joins other companies that emphasize giving players more autonomy and practical application.

GALA Coins can be used by gamers to purchase, trade, get, and buy within their gaming world. Gala Games players can purchase in-game assets with the token and also have their NFTs. MarketNews reports that gaming revenues are expected to increase by $125.6 million over the next four year, according to the Global Gaming Market 2021-2025 Research Report.

UFO Gaming: Newcomer making waves

UFO Gaming (similar to Gala) is an independent gaming firm that develops blockchain-based games. UFO is their digital currency. It can be used in the gaming universe to purchase and sell various assets. Some of these include NFTs. Coinbase is currently not listed for UFO.

Players of UFO Gaming can come together to create their own clans, own and trade virtual land, all within the ‘Dark Metaverse’. UFO Gaming is different from similar GameFi projects due to its ambitious plans. UFO Gaming has plans to work with AAA gaming studios, and already has a market capitalization of $1 billion.

What’s more, UFO Gaming’s launch game, Super Galactic, set to launch soon, will also have a dedicated NFT Marketplace, where gamers can trade their own characters, weapons, and other in-game items using UFO. Only 10,000 of the first edition NFT characters, also called ‘Genesis NFTs’, will be minted and available for players.

Although they have yet to release their first game the company is already a major player in the GameFi market. As Technology Sponsors of Chainlink’s Fall 2021 Hackathon, as well as the first GameFi company to sponsor an e-gaming tournament, their community-driven principals have primed them for continued success. It’s no wonder market watchers speculate the company will be next to list on Coinbase – only time will tell.
