KKR says no set deadline to start due diligence on TIM’s bid -Breaking

MILAN (Reuters – U.S.-based fund KKR indicated Monday that they expect to be able make a decision regarding its takeover proposal for Telecom Italia (MI-TIM) Only after thorough due diligence. It had not set a date to begin its analysis.

Consob, a market regulator asked KKR to clarify whether they would proceed with the offering if TIM’s Board failed to make a decision. KKR responded that the board’s assessment would not impact the timing of bid.
