O.J. Simpson granted early release from parole in Nevada robbery -Breaking

(Reuters) – O.J. Simpson was an ex-football star and TV personality. Simpson was found not guilty in 1994 of the murders of his wife and friend. Simpson received early parole for a Nevada robbery conviction.

In 2008, Simpson was convicted of kidnapping and robbery in connection to a dispute regarding sports memorabilia in Las Vegas. Simpson was sentenced to nine years imprisonment in Nevada and released upon parole in 2017.

Kim Yoko Smith from Nevada State Police stated in a statement that Mr. Simpson was on parole since Oct. 1, 2017 and that his parole term would expire on Feb. 9, 2022.

She said that a decision was made to release parolees early, and it was approved on December 6th 2021.

Simpson lives in Las Vegas’ gated community, and he loves to play golf.

In 1995, he was found not guilty by the jury of the murders of Nicole Brown Simpson and Ronald Goldman. A civil suit for wrongful deaths was filed against him in 1997. He lost and the court awarded $33.5 million.

He was also a well-known actor and pitchman, making him a Hall of Fame runningback. Simpson, in his Ford Bronco white sedan fleeing police after he and his ex-wife were stabbed to death at their Los Angeles residence.
