Is it possible to see a retest of recent stock market lows?

In last week’s commentary, the focus was on our year-end playbook. I discussed two possible outcomes in the near-term: the double bottom would hold and the S&P 500 (SPY) would continue grinding higher; or a retest of these lows. In today’s commentary, I want to discuss why both of these predictions are coming true. It is then that I reiterate the bullish case in favor of stocks.
