Antara is a feature film that will cost $50 million. It’s based on Antarah Ibn Shaddad’s story as a medieval Arabian knight.

Swapp Protocol, Arabian Camels, and Swapp Protocol created the Antara Movie NFT. This NFT was designed to reduce film financing and decentralize film ownership. An NFT is an electronic asset that confirms ownership of real-world or digital items.

This partnership will make the first NFTs in the world with DeFi capability. Swapp is a DeFi platform developed by the Ethereum community. Antara producer Alexander Amaratei said in a 9/12 statement that “my objective was build a mechanism for making films that ordinarily costs more than 50 million risk-free.”

This change means that moviegoers and people who support projects will be able to have greater control over the production process than traditional financiers or production companies. Passive income may be available to owners of Arabian Camel NFTs. People who support the project via Swapp’s platform receive direct financial rewards.
