(Reuters] – Eli Lilly’s full-year 2020 profit and forecast for sales were raised on Wednesday by the NYSE. The increase was partially due to a U.S. contract that covered its COVID-19 treatment.

Lilly indicated that adjusted earnings per share will be between $8.15 to $8.20. This compares to the earlier range of $7.95 – $8.05.

It expects that 2021 revenue will range from $28.0 billion up to $28.3billion, an increase of its earlier forecast of $27.2 billion-$27.6 billion.
