Generali to return up to 6.1 billion euros to investors under new plan -Breaking

MILAN (Reuters – Italy’s leading insurer Generali (MII:) on Wednesday promised to repay up to 6.1 Billion Euros ($7B) in dividends, buybacks and other shareholder benefits. Philippe Donnet, Chief Executive presented a revised strategy through 2024.

Generali has also allocated up to 3 Billion Euros for acquisitions or mergers in the insurance and asset management industries.
