Investing.com – Israel stocks were higher after the close on Wednesday, as gains in the , and sectors led shares higher.

The gained 0.7% by the end in Tel Aviv.

Nice Ltd, which gained 2.59% (or 2390 points) to trade at 94551 at the closing of the session was among the top performers. Meanwhile, Bank Hapoalim TASE: (Added 2.15%, or 65 points, to reach 3085 Elbit Systems Ltd (TASE 🙂 traded up 2.06% to reach 55000 points in late trade.

Teva Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd. (TASE:) was the worst performer of the session, falling 3.02% or just 79 points to close at 2535. Israel Corp (TASE 🙂 fell 2.23% (2950 points) to close at 129550. Meanwhile, Liveperson (TASE 🙂 decreased 2.15% (240 points) to finish at 10910.

By 259 to 233, falling stocks outnumbered advancing on Tel Aviv Stock Exchange. 33 ended the same.

Elbit Systems Ltd. (TASE) shares rose to 52 week highs. This is an increase of 2.06%, or between 1110 and 55000.

The January delivery of crude oil was lower by 0.35 percent or $0.25 to $70.48 per barrel. Brent oil fell 0.25 to $73.55 per barrel in commodity trading. The February Gold Futures contract dropped 0.30% to $1767.00 an ounce.

USD/ILS increased 0.01% to 3,1359, and EUR/ILS climbed 0.09% up to 3.5338.

At 96.555, the US Dollar Index Futures rose 0.02%.
