Majority of U.S. Senate backs $770 billion defense bill -Breaking

REUTERS/Leah Millis/FilesWASHINGTON (Reuters] – The U.S. Senate voted in support of the National Defense Authorization Act. On Wednesday, the Senate overwhelmingly voted for the NDAA. It sent the $770 million bill to President Joe Biden, who will then sign it.
The vote for the legislation was 57-to-6 as voting went on. It sets policy for Department of Defense.
