Accenture Earnings, Revenue Beat in Q1 -Breaking

Investing.com – Accenture NYSE: reported Thursday the results of their first quarter. They beat analyst forecasts, and generated revenue above expectations.

Accenture posted earnings per share (EPS) of $2.78 on revenue $14.97B. Investing.com polled analyst to predict EPS of 2.63 on revenue $14.17B.

The shares of Accenture are up 43.68% since the start of the year. However, they’re still 1.53% below their 52-week high of $381.15 on December 13. They are outperforming the S&P 500 which is up 25.39% from the start of the year.

Accenture’s earnings beat was achieved by NVIDIA, who on November 17 reported an EPS increase of $1.17 for revenue $7.1B. Forecasts were for an EPS rise of $1.11 to revenue $6.82B.

Oracle exceeded expectations by beating forecasts on December 9, with second quarterEPS of $1.21 on $10.36B revenue, as compared to $1.11 for $10.2B revenue.
