Peter McCormack, a well-regarded investor and advocate, has announced the purchase of local Englishfootball club Bedford FC, divulging ambitions in a fourteen-tweet thread to fuel the club’s prosperous aspirations through the leading cryptocurrency asset, Bitcoin.

McCormack indicated that he will design the club using “Bitcoin as its heart” and introduce merchandise and sponsorship endorsements as well as an education program for members of the community and supporters. He also plans to facilitate open-source development.
