The Travelers Companies Inc (NYSE 🙂 gained 2.30%, or 3.65 points, to close at 162.02. International Business Machines was also up 2.29%, or 2.82 points, to 125.93 late trade.

Apple Inc (NASDAQ) was the worst performer of the session, falling 3.93% or 7.04 point to close at 172.26, and Salesforce.com Inc (NYSE:) fell 2.66% or 6.92 points at 253.26. Microsoft Corporation (NASDAQ;) dropped 2.91% (or 9.75 points) to finish at 324.90, while Salesforce.com Inc. (NYSE:), was down 2.66% (or 6.92 points) to 253.12.

The top performers on the S&P 500 were Newmont Goldcorp Corp (NYSE:) which rose 8.80% to 59.00, AT&T Inc (NYSE:) which was up 6.95% to settle at 23.71 and Accenture plc (NYSE:) which gained 6.74% to close at 400.60.

Adobe Systems Incorporated (NASDAQ) was among the worst-performing stocks, falling 10.19% and 566.09 respectively in late trading. Skyworks Solutions Inc (NASDAQ) which dropped 8.47% and settled at 146.39 Xilinx Inc (NASDAQ:) The close was 8.24% lower at 199.78

Top performers of the NASDAQ Composite are Adagio Therapy Inc (NASDAQ) rose 123.31%, to 14.18. Kaixin Auto Holdings was up 36.29%, to settle at 1.6990. Assertio Therapeutics Inc. (NASDAQ) gained 23.70%, to close at 1.66700.

Uniqure Nevada (NASDAQ:), which fell 29.60% and 20.24 respectively in late-trade, was the worst performer. Aerovate Therapeutics Inc (NASDAQ) lost 25.93% and settled at 9.14. P3 Health Partners Inc was at the same time down at 21.47%, to close at 8.74.

The New York Stock Exchange saw falling stocks surpass advancing by 1773 to1493 while 137 closed unchanged. On the Nasdaq Stock Exchange 2588 was down and 1247 were up, while 203 was unchanged.

Accenture plc’s shares rose to new highs, rising by 6.74% (25.30 to 400.60). Uniqure NV’s shares fell to their lowest level in three years, falling 29.60% (or 8.51 to 20.24). Aerovate Therapeutics Inc. shares (NASDAQ) plunged 25.93% to a low of 9.14. P3 Health Partners Inc shares (NASDAQ:), fell to new lows, falling 21.47% to 2.39 to 8.74

EUR/USD rose 0.4% to 1.1332, and USD/JPY rose by 0.00% at 113.71.
