Jay Clayton is the ex-chairman of U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission or SEC. He was appointed in 2017 by former President Donald Trump.

Clayton, during his tenure at the SEC was a frequent advocate for (BTC) being a store value. Jay talked about cryptocurrency in an interview that he did with CNBC’s Squawk Box. He also shared his views on how to regulate it.
