Despite surpassing analysts’ revenue estimates in its most recent quarter, AM’s performance declined on a year-over-year basis. Since the release of its third quarter results, on October 27, AM’s stock price has fallen 14.4%. Investors were anxious about pandemic-related disruptions and the company’s report of lower gathering and freshwater delivery volumes. The company’s low pressure gathering volume decreased by 6% and its high-pressure gathering volume declined by 7% over the same period. Compression was also down by 3% compared to the previous year. AM pointed out that the collection and compression volumes were negatively affected by downtime at the Hopedale and Sherwood processing and fractionation plants. The freshwater delivery volume also decreased 18% compared to the previous year quarter and was now at 91 MBbl/d.

AM’s shares have declined 8.9% in price over the past six months and 10.8% over the past month to close the last trading session at $9.46. The stock currently trades below its 200-day and 50-day moving averages. Also, AM’s stock is highly volatile at its current price level with a 2.90 beta.
