Senator Joe Manchin is a conservative Democrat who said on Sunday that he will not be supporting the Biden administration’s plan to “Build back Better”.
This decision may result in the cancellation of $1.75 trillion worth of climate and social policy bills.
“If it is not possible for me to explain the matter to West Virginians, then I cannot vote.” This piece of legislation is too complicated for me to vote. This is just not possible. It’s impossible. Manchin stated that he couldn’t achieve it on Fox News Sunday.
The White House spokesperson didn’t immediately reply to our request for comment.
