LOS ANGELES, (Reuters) – The weekend of “Spider-Man: no Way Home” saw an estimated $253 million in U.S. ticket sales and a Canadian record. This was a new pandemic-era record. It also ranked as the third-largest domestic movie opening ever, according to distributor Sony Corp (T:).
