Goldman Sachs strategist Abby Joseph Cohen retiring -Breaking

(Reuters) – Goldman Sachs (NYSE 🙂 Senior investment strategist Abby Joseph Cohen will be retiring at the end 2021. Her optimistic stock market predictions made her the face and symbol of the bull market of 1990s.

Cohen began his career at Goldman Sachs as a broker in 1990.

The company released a statement saying that Cohen was a key player in the expansion of its global investment research franchise. He held leadership roles including the chief U.S. strategist, president and CEO at the Global Markets Institute. This is Goldman’s policy center.

“She has been an influential presence at the firm and across the financial industry,” said Jan Hatzius, head of the global investment research division and the firm’s chief economist.
