A crypto regulatory regime is a balance between multiple institutions, groups and individuals who hold sway over financial or monetary policy. They are not always in sync, and often result in conflicting signals from various power centers.

The U.S. Financial Stability Oversight Council released a report two days later stating that both stablecoins as well decentralized were safe.Finance could present significant financial stability risk. The source of this discrepancy could lie in the fact that the Fed’s mandate is to maintain a robust economy, while the FSOC, which has roots in the Dodd-Frank reform, is explicitly tasked with spotting systemic risks. The shape of each regulator’s hammer will determine how they view the digital assets nails. This is true even outside the U.S.
