Nike Earnings, Revenue Beat in Q2 -Breaking

Investing.com – Nike (NYSE:) Monday’s second quarter report showed revenue exceeding expectations and beating analysts’ predictions.

Nike reported earnings per share at $0.83 on $11.36B in revenue. Investing.com polled analysts and predicted EPS at $0.6308 for revenue $11.25B.

Nike shares have risen 11% since the start of the year. However, they are still 12.28% below the 52-week high of $179.10 on November 5. They are under-performing the S&P 500 which is up 21.6% from the start of the year.

After-hours trading saw Nike share prices rise by 0.93% following the news.

Nike joins other large Consumer Discretionary sectors that have reported this month

Rivian Automotive missed an earnings report on Thursday and reported EPS $-7.68 for revenue of $1M. This compares to the forecasts EPS $-1.33 for revenue of $926.41K.

Pinduoduo exceeded expectations by $0.29 in third quarter earnings on revenues of $21.51B. This compares to the forecast of $-0.4634 for $25.83B.
