Al-Jouf Agriculture Development Co. (SE:) was the best performer of the session. It rose 5.44%, or 3.30 points, to trade at 64.00 by the close. Alinma Tokio Marine Co. SE: gained 4.88% (or 1.60) to finish at 34.40, while Banque Saudi Fransi rose 4.51% (1.90) to 44.00 late trade.
Arabian Shield Coop Insurance Co. (SE:) was the worst performer of the session, falling 4.14% or 1.10 point to close at 25.50. Rabigh Refining & Petrochemical Co (SE:) declined 3.81% or 0.82 points to end at 20.72 and Jabal Omar Development Company (SE:) was down 3.06% or 0.85 points to 26.90.
On the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange, falling stocks outnumbered those in progress by 147 to 64. 10 ends unchanged.
Crude oil fell 3.99%, or 2.83 to $68.03/barrel for January delivery. Brent oil, which was due for delivery on February 1, fell by 2.40 or 3.26% to $68.03 a barrel. Meanwhile, the February Gold Futures contract lost 0.39%, or 7.10, to trade at $1797.80 per troy ounce.
