Micron Technology Inc (NASDAQ) was a company that helped chipmakers surpass Wall Street’s revenue and profit forecasts.

1. Earnings at Carmax
CarMax Inc (NYSE: ) Wednesday will release its third-quarter results. According to Investing.com analysts, the company will report revenue of $7.28 Billion and profit per share at $1.47.
2. Output economics
A second reading of U.S. third quarter growth will likely show an increase of 2.1% annually, which is a small improvement on the October estimate of 2%. The second quarter saw a 6.5% increase. It will be available at 8:30 AM ET (1330 GMT).
3. Confidence among consumers
The consumer confidence, as measured by the Conference Board, is likely to have improved to 110.8 in December from November’s 109.5, according to estimates by analysts tracked by Investing.com. It will come out at 10:00 ET.
