These were the worst performers of the session. Pilbara Minerals Ltd (ASX:), fell 9.06% (0.250 points) to trade at 2.510 at the closing. Bluescope Steel Ltd. ASX: declined 2.92 points or 0.640 points, to reach 21.270. Metcash Ltd. was at 4.370 with a drop of 2.89% (or 0.130).
Stocks that are rising outperformed those in decline on the Sydney Stock Exchange were 726 to 6,76 and 384 respectively, which ended unchanged.

AUD/USD rose 0.08%, to 0.7114. AUD/JPY rose 0.19%, to 80.89.
