Biden Rules Out Return to National Lockdown -Breaking

Investing.com – President Joe Biden on Tuesday ruled out the possibility of returning to the national pandemic lockdown of March 2020, as the Omicron variant of Covid-19 sweeps across the U.S., citing increased vaccination and medical expertise.
Biden declared that the U.S. would not “absolutely” resume national pandemic lockdown, as was done in March of last year.
Biden noted that “thanks to the advances in vaccinations, it’s gone from almost 90,000,000 adults in July who hadn’t started vaccinations yet” to just 14 million people today.
Biden also said that closing down schools is not an option, since schools with more resources and knowledge would still be open even when a student has tested positive for Covid-19.
“[Last year]Biden stated, “I used to think that closing our schools would be the only way for your children to stay safe. However, now we know more about this and we can use more resources to ensure those schools remain open.” Biden stated that if a student has a positive test, they can have others take the test to keep them in school.
