ING to quit French retail banking market -Breaking

PARIS (Reuters – The Dutch financial services provider ING announced on Tuesday that it would be closing its French retail banking division. It could impact 460 people.

ING said that it was continuing talks with other companies to expand its French retail bank client portfolio. French newspaper Les Echos previously reported that Credit Mutuel (OTC:), SocGen and Credit Agricole were keen to acquire the assets.
