Trump plans news conference on January 6, anniversary of deadly U.S. Capitol riot -Breaking

WASHINGTON (Reuters] – Donald Trump, the former president of the United States, said he would host a news conference January 6, one year after deadly riots at Capitol that the Republican ex President was accused of inciting.

Trump stated that he would discuss those events, which saw rioters march to the Capitol following Trump’s speech. In connection with Trump supporters’ assault on Capitol, more than 700 have been detained.

Trump stated that Trump’s Palm Beach resort will host the conference, repeating false claims regarding the validity of the November 2020 election.
