© Reuters. Cintas Earnings, Revenue Beat in Q2Cintas (NASDAQ) reported Wednesday that the second quarter beat analyst forecasts, and that revenue exceeded expectations.
Cintas reported earnings per share at $2.76 for revenue $1.92B. Investing.com polled analysts to predict EPS of 2.64 per cent on revenues of $1.9B.
Cintas shares have risen 23% since the start of the year. However, they are still down 5.34% from their 52-week high of $461.44 on December 13. They are under-performing the S&P 500 which is up 23.78% from the start of the year.
Cintas reports on major industrial sector earnings for this month
Cintas’s report follows an earnings beat by Deere&Company on November 24, who reported EPS of $4.12 on revenue of $10.28B, compared to forecasts EPS of $3.87 on revenue of $10.46B.
FedEx beat all expectations with a second quarter earnings per share of $4.83 on $23.5B revenue, as compared to a forecast of $4.28 for $22.41B revenue.
